Vote to pass a bill that increases access to reproductive healthcare by college students at public institutions of higher education.

Highlights:

• Defines a residential campus to mean any campus of a public institution of higher education with housing (Sec. 1).

• Requires that no later than January 1, 2024, the Board of Regents for Higher Education and the Board of Trustees of the University of Connecticut establish a plan for each residential campus under the boards jurisdiction to provide reproductive health care services from a licensed provider to all students who live on such residential campus (Sec. 1).

• Requires that the plan include (Sec. 1):

• Equipment availability;

• Transportation services;

• Reproductive health services counseling through telehealth;

• Provision of educational materials;

• Means to ensure continuity of care during holiday periods;
