Vote to concur with senate amendments and pass a bill that expands regulations on chemicals in children's products.

Highlights:

• Defines class of chemicals to mean a group of chemicals that are related or similar based on their structure, use, physical property, radiological property or other factors (Sec. 1).

• Defines a subclass of chemicals to mean a group of chemicals within a class of chemicals that likely share the same type and approximate value of a specific toxicological property or other property based on analysis of (Sec. 1):

• Structure;

• Physicochemical properties;

• Composition;

• Bioactivity profiles;

• Toxicokinetics;

• Mode of action;

• Other toxicological and ecotoxicological testing data.

• Authorizes the Oregon Health Authority to include a class of chemicals on their list of high priority concern chemicals for concern and allows them to exclude specific members of the class of chemicals, or subclass, that do not share the same hazards, if they include a class of chemicals on the list (Sec. 2).
