Highlights:

• Authorizes auto repair facilities in the state of Oregon to sue on behalf of their customers under the Unfair Trade Practices Act (UTPA) (Sec. 1).

• Defines “customers” as individual persons, as well as the following, including (Sec. 1):

• Corporoations;

• Trusts;

• Partnerships, 

• Incorporated association; and

• Any other legal entity other than a group or someone acting under state statutory authority.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 9).
