Highlights:

• Prohibits a person or entity from manufacturing, selling, delivering, distributing, holding, or offering for sale a food product for human consumption that contains any specified substance, including, among others, brominated vegetable oil and red dye 3 (Sec. 2). 

• Establishes that a violation of this act would constitute a civil fine of up to $5000 for the first violation and $10000 for the second (Sec. 2).
