Title: Amends Election Laws Concerning Electronic Return of Absent Voter Ballots By Uniformed Service members
Vote to pass a bill that amends election laws concerning the return for ballots by uniformed armed service members.
Authorizes an absent uniformed service member or their spouse who is unregistered to vote and overseas at the time of a primary or general election may register to vote via federal postcard application upon request (Sec. 759a).
Defines “Uniformed services” as the following, including, but not limited to the following (Sec. 759a):
The Army;
The Navy;
The Air Force;
The Marine Corps;
The Space Force; or
The Coast Guard.
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 759a).
