Vote to amend and pass a bill that expands Medicaid assistance and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families for pregnant women.

Highlights:

• Expands Temporary assistance for needy families program to all Pregnant woman (Sec. 1). 

• Repeal language concerning rape and incest from the exceptions for recieving aid (Sec. 1). 

• Extends time by which one may claim earned income as an incentive allowance if they have not been on the program for more than 12 months (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes the department to give additional support to pregnant women who are legal residents (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that the support must be available for the entirety of the pregnancy and 12 months after the pregnancy (Sec. 1).
