Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding for the Department of State, foreign operations, and related programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025.

Highlights:

• Appropriates billions in funding from the federal budget for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, for the following Department and related agency or program costs and expenditures, including, but not limited to (Title I):

• The Department of State;

• Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic Programs;

• Consular and Border Security Programs and Capital Investment Fund;

• Educational and Cultural Exchange Programs;

• Protection of foreign missions and officials;

• Emergencies in the Diplomatic and Consular Service;

• Foreign Service Retirement and Disability Fund;

• Contributions to International peacekeeping activities;

• International Commissions and International Boundary and Water Commission;

• The Asia Foundation and United States Institute for Peace;

• Center for Middle Eastern-Western Dialogue Trust Fund;

• Eisenhower Exchange Fellowship Program;

• Israeli Arab Scholarship Program;

• Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad; and

• United States Commission on International Religious Freedom;

• Specifies that the appropriation provisions of this bill shall become effective immediately upon passage and signage into law (Title VIII).
