Title: Prohibits the Use of Neonicotinoid Pesticides

Vote to override a Governor's veto and pass a bill that prohibits the use of neonicotinoid pesticides in Vermont.

Prohibits the use of neonicotinoid pesticides that harm pollinators, bird populations, ecosystem health, and public health in general on any seeds or crops planted in Vermont and authorizes exemptions under certain circumstances (Sec. 4).
Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture, Food and Markets after consulting with the Secretary of Natural Resources to rescind any written exemptions after 15 days of issuance (Sec. 4).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 8).

NOTE: A TWO-THIRDS MAJORITY OF THOSE PRESENT AND VOTING IS REQUIRED TO OVERRIDE A GOVERNOR'S VETO.
