-States that an individual’s weekly benefit amount for an insured unemployment benefit year shall be 1/26 of his total wages plus an additional 10% for benefit years beginning on or after July 1, 2008 and an additional 20% for benefit years beginning on or after July 1, 2009 (Sec. 1). -Sets a limit of $230 for weekly benefits for years beginning on or after July 2008, a limit of $250 for benefit years beginning on or after July 2009, and specifies that benefits shall increase annually at a percentage rate based on the Social Security Administration's automatic cost of living adjustment as determined by the increase in the Consumer Price Index (Sec. 1).
