-Requires proprietors of restaurants, bars, and lounge areas to post "no smoking" signs (Sec. 1). -Specifies that persons who smoke in prohibited areas in violation of the provisions of this bill or proprietors who allow such smoking shall be subject to a civil penalty of up to $25 (Sec. 1). -This is a substitute bill sponsored by the Senate Committee on Education and Health.
