Reason for Seeking Public Office:

Courtney Denton decided to enter politics to give a voice to the average American. After growing steadily frustrated with the disconnect between Washington D.C. and citizens, Courtney determined now is the time to change this. The people are who run this country, and should rightfully have an impact on the decisions made in Congress. Courtney wants to be the voice and advocate for change. Too many current members of congress have decidedly made a career of being a politician, without putting forth the necessary work required of a civil servant. Many current congressional representatives treat Congress as if it is a big game, rather than placing priority on the wants and needs the people they represent. I will represent you and your ideas if elected, and will not back down until those needs are met.
