Priority Issues:

1. Implement a light rail system the connects all small towns, universities, malls, hotels, sports arenas and airport within the New Orleans region. A $6 billion dollar investment that will create over 100,000 permanent jobs and improve the local economy with an annual revenue of more than $1 billion.
2. Legalize farming of Hemp to be used for animal and human feed, biofuel and for construction of eco-homes that can withstand category 5 storms thus creating over 5 million new jobs and over $500 billion in annual revenues to the United States.

Reason for Seeking Public Office:

Worried about the health and economic well being of the people of the 1st. CD. Rep. Scalise is more interested in obtaining more political power instead of considering the National Security Risk with Ebola. At this time U.S. Congress should be recalled to an emergency session to properly fund all hospitals in the United States to be properly equipped with safety gear for all medical staff, proper training and quarantine space for hundreds of people in every hospital because we only have 4 hospitals in the entire nation with a total of 8 beds for which 3 are already occupied leaving only 5 beds available for a nation of almost 300 million people--this is not a good scenario for the country that is supposed to have the best medical system in the world. Texas Health Presbyterian is not a good example of a hospital where I would like to receive any medical attention and like them there most be many other hospitals.
I also want to respond to the threat of ISIS/ISIL with more air strikes until they are diminished without sending any ground troops to Iraq and Syria which is what Rep. Scalise wants to do. For the last 6 years Scalise has recommended to send Louisiana/U.S. Military members to the war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan but he has never had the courage to visit any of the troops in the war zone instead he has used campaign funds to go to Disney World to visit Mickey Mouse, Woody and Buzz.
Rep. Scalise says led to the Sequestration of the U.S. Government which crippled the U.S. military and its ability to adequately respond the threat of ISIS. Scalise as the leader of the GOP Tea Party, he lead to the government shut down which was a $24 billion dollar loss to the U.S. economy.
Scalise wants to privatize MEDICARE and perhaps let a private institution like the Texas Presbyterian Health system to manage it.
Scalise says that he is conservative but he spent over $64,000 to pay for meals for his supporters at Ruth Chris and Acadiana Restaurants in DC when he celebrated his promotion to the House Whip. When more than 64,000 in the 1st. CD are unemployed or homeless. More than 640,000 people in our district do not even make $64,000 in one year and blows it away because he did not earn it and because it is not his money--it is BP and Koch Brothers' money.
Scalise is in Congress to Represent the rich people and I want to go to Congress to Represent low income, middle class and the rich as well. Please give me one opportunity to better represent you at the U.S. House of Representatives
