Reason for Seeking Public Office:
As a school board member, parent, and advocate for our community, I'm running for the Oregon House to make education and standing up for working Oregonians our top priorities. As our next State Representative, I will fight to fully fund our schools with the goal of decreasing class sizes and addressing the rising cost of higher education, help local businesses grow, and stand up for children, working families, and our most vulnerable.
I was raised in Washington County, so I understand how important it is to protect the character of our communities for the next generation. In Salem, I'll work to make sure the voices of working families in our community are heard loud and clear. -- Janeen Sollman
