Reason for Seeking Public Office:

Stevens is running for office because she is tired of seeing continued inaction in Jefferson City on issues that could help hundreds of thousands of Missourians. Legislators are elected to serve the best interests of their constituents and the majority of our legislature is not working for the people of Missouri, and that needs to change
