I have many. Obviously Jesus for all the lessons and wisdom about life and how to treat others. My mom and my maternal grandmother, because they are strong women who were never afraid to work hard, but they always put God and family first. Their strength of character and commitment to always help others inspires me to give back to my community and country. President Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King, and many others inspire me to always fight for equality and justice, always focusing on a person's character. I am truly blessed to have so many people who have come before me and provided me with a road map on how to live my life - God, country, family, and service.
