While I have a Navy Commendation Medal from the SECNAV and 2 Navy Achievements from the SecNAV for holding officer billets. This was for designing and building the 1st Digital Distance Learning Classroom and Nonlinear editing suite. Contractors quoted 1 million dollars. My crew and I designed a better system and built it for 70K. It was nice to know that I saved more money for the taxpayer than he would ever spend on my retirement.
Letter of Thanks from the British Consulate Warden Chengdu
UK Consulate
May 2005
Chengdu was the epicenter of a major manmade disaster. One ethnic group we call the Hmong and the PRC calls the Miao was left w/o even a Nurse. The Nurse died trying to save others and was the true hero. I was asked to provide sutures, anesthetics ,bandages and other items. I provide a Triage plan directions on reusing certain materials and field expedient measure. The Consulate Warden Warden say 1,300 seriously injured were successfully treated and 40,000 required check and light treatments..
