Name one thing you would most like to do before you die:
Become an active lawyer and philanthropist.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I was encourage to run because of my level of education, training, experience, and skills that enable me to comprehend complex economic and fiscal dynamics, while maintaining sincere compassion for all people and our communities. I was reluctant at first, but was reminded of my duty to use that which I have been blessed with to help others. Many people believe my ability to work cohesively with people of all cultures and orientations, and to avoid party politics, will work wonders in developing effective solutions for us all.
TOP THREE PRIORITIES FOR THE POSITION:
1. Comprehensive economic development which will create more jobs, training & educational programs, attract commerce, develop new industries, and improve the State's fiscal positioning.
2. Affordable quality universal health care which will also include controlling senior citizen medication costs.
3. Improved K-12 education and parents-teachers-administrators accountability for the student success.
We must invest heavily in our greatest resource - Michigan's people; which includes our children - Michigan's future. But to accomplish this, we must also attract business and revenues into the State, but not to the extinct where we put profit ahead of our people. Elected officials must now put aside traditional party politics and focus primarily on developing effective solutions for Michigan and all of its stakeholders.
