Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I am running for office because I still have a great desire to help people and make a difference in our community, as well as the background and experience, to go to Hartford and effectuate positive change.
I want to go to Hartford and work on important issues like controlling state spending; fixing our economy and helping to create jobs; reforming our tax system and education funding system; and protecting our environment, seniors and veterans.
As a former mayor I have a unique background and experience that will help me be practical and work toward making better public policy in Hartford as I have had to deal with first hand the impact of bad decisions made in Hartford.
