|Pro-choice||a) Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?|
|Yes||b) Should abortion be legal when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?|
|Yes||c) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?|
|Libertarians disagree on when life begins, but we tend to agree the government should not prohibit abortion nor should it fund abortion.|
1) Budget Stabilization:Indicate which proposals you support (if any) for balancing New Hampshire's budget.
|No||a) Do you support the creation of a state income tax in New Hampshire?|
|Yes||b) Reducing state employee salaries AND/OR pensions?|
|Yes||c) Instituting mandatory furloughs AND/OR layoffs for state employees?|
|Yes||d) Reducing benefits for Medicaid recipients?|
|Medical care should not be funded by the state. People should be able to keep the money they earn and contribute voluntarily to charities that can take care of people. Charity is always more efficient and caring than government bureaucracy.|
|No||a) Do you support any limits on campaign contributions to state candidates?|
|No||b) Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?|
|Yes||c) Do you support the use of an independent AND/OR bipartisan commission for redistricting?|
|No||d) Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls?|
|No||e) Do you support imposing penalties on state legislators who fail to attend legislative sessions?|
|I would like to end the idea of "the state" entirely. It's a dangerous old idea that justifies strangers using aggressive violence against peaceful people. Government is aggressive force and aggression always creates unintended consequences. It's time to leave the idea of the coercive state behind in the dustbin of history, like chattel slavery before it.|
|No||a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?|
|Yes||b) Do you support the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes?|
|Yes||c) Should a minor accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult?|
|No||d) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?|
|The police state is expanding and getting more dangerous to peaceful people. Humans make mistakes and innocent people have been put to death because of those mistakes by prosecutors and police. Abolish the death penalty. Regarding cannabis, New Hampshire should simply end prohibition and NOT regulate cannabis. That's freedom. The freedom to travel in a free country should not be infringed. Not only should local police not enforce federal laws, we should secede New Hampshire from the United States entirely.|
|No||a) Do you support state government spending as a means of promoting economic growth?|
|Yes||b) Do you support lowering state taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?|
|Yes||c) Do you support reducing state government regulations on the private sector?|
|No||d) Do you support expanding access to unemployment benefits?|
|No||e) Do you support requiring welfare applicants to pass a drug test in order to receive benefits?|
|No||f) Do you support an increase of the minimum wage of New Hampshire?|
|The state is the enemy of freedom and every dollar it takes by threat of force (taxes) is a dollar that can't be allocated by the person who earned it. Wages and workplace rules should be set through market competition and other market action like unions and publicity of bad companies.|
|No||a) Do you support adopting federal education standards in New Hampshire?|
|b) Do you support state funding for charter schools?|
|c) Should immigrants unlawfully present in the United States who graduate from New Hampshire high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?|
|There should be no state funded education whatsoever. Why would someone put something as important as education in the hands of the government?|
|No||a) Do you support state funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?|
|No||b) Do you support state government regulations of greenhouse gas emissions?|
|No||c) Do you support increasing state funding for clean drinking water initiatives?|
|Property rights and the ability to sue polluters for restitution is the way to solve environmental issues. The government is a terrible steward of the environment and the military is one of the worst polluters in the world. Why leave the environment in the hands of unaccountable bureaucrats and politicians.|
|No||a) Do you generally support gun-control legislation?|
|No||b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?|
|Yes||c) Should teachers be allowed to bring guns into the classroom?|
|No||d) Should a license be required for gun ownership?|
|You should have the right to defend yourself and others with the weapon of your choice. This is a basic human freedom.|
|No||a) Should the state government increase funding for treatment facilities to combat opioid abuse?|
|No||b) Do you support Medicaid expansion through New Hampshire's health care programs?|
|No||c) Do you support requiring individuals to purchase health care insurance?|
|Yes||d) Do you support legislation that grants citizens the right to choose to die through euthanasia?|
|No||e) Do you support eliminating religious exemptions for vaccinations?|
|Health care is important, which is exactly why it shouldn't be in the hands of the government. End all state involvement with regulating or paying for health care and let it be handled voluntarily by community groups, charities, and companies.|
|a) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in New Hampshire's anti-discrimination laws?|
|b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in New Hampshire's anti-discrimination laws?|
|No||c) Do you support greater efforts by New Hampshire state government in closing the pay gap between men and women?|
|I am opposed to laws prohibiting discrimination. I think bigots and racists should be free to discriminate, so people can knowingly choose not to do business with bigots and racists. Anti-discrimination laws just result in hidden racism and bigoty. Let them be known - so WE can discriminate against their businesses.|
|Number one priority - end all prohibitions. No victim, no crime. Focus police efforts on actual crimes with victims, like murder, rape, etc. Then, voluntarize taxation and end the coercive state. Convert all state bureaucracy to consensually funded market entities or abolish them entirely. Finally, secede from the United States of America. The experiment has failed. New Hampshire was first to secede from England, and now it's time to do it again, peacefully.|
