The person someone loves is an intimate characteristic that, again, shouldn't ever be a reason for any kind of discrimination. Also, it turns out that women, who are over half of the population, are human beings. One day it will be recognized that the glacially slow pace that equal rights have been guaranteed to women as compared to other demographics has been, in and of itself, a stain on humanity. | |||
| People: A fair, robust economy based on livable wages, workers' rights, single-payer healthcare, free high-quality k-college education, and ending tax-downshifting that taxes young working people out of home-ownership. Planet: Aggressively combating climate change and reaching 100% renewable energy, improved public transit​ and city planning/buildings, water/air/soil protections, and supported small agriculture. Principles: Ending the corruption of moneyed interests in politics, making government more transparent and accessible, and holding politicians accountable. Increasing voting rights/poll accessibility and civic engagement/discourse.
