In my district, it's critically important that we invest considerable effort into improving our infrastructure. We have endless miles of roads and bridges, and rail that need to be upgraded. During the pandemic, it's important that we create good paying union jobs in industries such as the Building Trades, which will ensure that people will be able to afford to stay in their homes.
My top legislative priority is fully funding public schools. During this time of an unprecedented crisis, we should do our utmost to ensure that our children do not feel burdened by the budget cuts due to the pandemic. I support calling on the ultra-wealthy in New York to pay their fair share as they have in the past.
