What is the Political Courage Test?

California Congressional Election 2020 Political Courage Test

Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
Yes, I support pro-life legislation. I am a Physician Assistant and I believe that life starts when the sperm penetrates the egg. I am against this new legislation called infantacide and/or late term abortions. Strong anti-contraceptives planning and awareness is the key to stop taking innocent lives.
No In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
I support funding entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare. However, I would like to first address Government wasteful spending and misuse of Federal dollars for entitlement programs and Domestic spending. I would like to introduce a Virtual Community Action Plan (VCAP) to identify wasteful Government spending and misconduct/mismanagement of these funds. Following the dollars is very important and will limit misuse and abuse of both state and federal dollars. If expansion is required after assuring these dollars are maximized, then I would support legislation to expand funding and support.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
I believe that campaign contributions should and must be adequately and appropriately vetted, especially when big corporations and unions are invested in direct or indirect campaign contributions.
No Do you support increasing defense spending?
I believe that our President has done a really good job on rebuilding our U.S. Military and he has allocated sufficient funding to accomplish this task. For this reason, I believe that increasing support or funding for the Department of Defense is premature and legislation is not warranted at this time.
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
The United States Economy and our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reflects our Corporate and Small Business means and ends. The U.S. economy is not and should not be based of the Federal Government and I support small Government and booming businesses by and for the people. The U.S. is built on a Capitalistic Ideology and creating businesses and industry is the key to promoting economic growth.
Yes Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
Yes. I support this to the point that the Federal Government and the Constitution is the law of the land and state officials and Governments are required to uphold this Constitution and Rule of Law. Accordingly, by these standards, it would be in the best interest for states to adopt certain federal education rules and regulations. There is a check and balance in place and that's how the framers created this great country. The US Constitution is first and everything else should and must follow.
Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
I support both of these agendas and/or legislation because we are Energy independent and the federal Government should have the last word, or say, when speaking of greenhouse gas emissions and renewable energy. The federal Government aligns all of the states with law and regulations to keep them from dissenting or implementing policies that maybe contrary or harmful to the people.
No Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
The 2ND Amendment was created and well legislated by our founding fathers. I believe Guns do not kill, people do. Every responsible man and woman must have Second Amendment Protection and Guaranteed Rights under the Constitution. Agenda 21 and 2030, by the United Nations, calls for the disarmament of the Gun and the 2ND Amendment. I generally do not support Agenda 21, since it resorts to Centralization and radical takeover of the Constitution. I am Pro-Second Amendment.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
I was informed that if you could not afford healthcare insurance it would be offered. I was not informed that I would have to pay, a very hefty penalty, if I did not purchase healthcare insurance. I have had many horror stories of people getting the tax returns taken and property taken because they did not have Obamacare and/or could not afford it. I would aggressively work to repeal Obamacare for the good of our country.
Yes Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
Yes Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
I support creating and legislating a comprehensive immigration reform package the address the undocumented population in the United States by creating a system of placement and standardization designed to vet and prioritize each person and or family based on U.S. immigration and civilian appeal statistics. The U.S. have straight forward laws on the book for immigration and it's a matter of looking at these laws, the U.S. economy, the population, density, job demands, and other demographics to welcome more immigrants into this country.
Yes Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
Yes Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
The United States should and must use military force and/or strong sanctions to deter hostile governments from weaponizing and attacking U.S. citizens. The U.S. should not engage in weapons that are inhumane or unhumanitarian.
Yes Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
International trade is an important aspect and function of the U.S. economy and world economy is dependent on international trade. However, when there is corruption or conflict, these barriers are intended to demand compliance and correction of such acts. In General, tariffs and quotas are trade tools used to change behavior and/or position.
1. Anti-corruption legislation and Abuse of Power. Requires limited funding and targets the Judiciary and Federal Enforcement Agencies. This will restore Constitutional and Due Process rights that have been stripped by corrupt officials and government. "Agenda 21 & 2030." 2. Homeless Crisis. I will work to cut home killing regulations and focus on Federal Dollars by creating a system of checks and balances, a Consortium, of subject matter experts, from communities where federal dollars are sent. Tracking the dollars and bidding processes are key to ending corruption. 3. Immigration Reform using common sense legislation and approach to help the people.
