What is the Political Courage Test?

Louisiana Congressional Election 2020 Political Courage Test

Pro-life Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
As a Christian I do not not believe in abortion and as a father of the child I would never accept it. My Native American Indian grandmother was raped by an European immigrant but she did not have an abortion. However, if a murderer, thief and sexual abuser and psychological sick man would rape my daughter or my granddaughter and her life is in danger, perhaps I would consider saving her life. Nonetheless, I do respect that it is your right to wear a mask or not to save or risk your life as a woman. I wear my mask.
Yes In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
Yes Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare?
In order to balance the budget, we must re-structure the federal and state income tax. a. I would increase income tax on the top 5% of earners. b. Reduce tax to 95%, if you make $75,000 or less single you pay "0" ($150,000 for filing jointly) c. Increase 35% tax to all corporations. d. Tax 50% on political contributions and limit corporations to $2800 same as individuals. e. 10% tax to all non-profits!
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
There should be a regulation that limits campaign contributions of corporations and unions to a maximum of $2800 same as individual contributions, if corporations are considered people they should also have the same contribution limit. All political contributions should be taxed at 50% upon receipt of the contribution.
No Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct?
Anyone that is willfully negligent in their duties as elected officials and/or as a hired law enforcement officer should be tried and prosecuted with the same law that is used for all American citizens with the exception of pig laws that applied to punish minorities 10 times to 100 times more than the average American caucasian.
No Do you support increasing defense spending?
I would actually reduce defense by 10% and re-invest in the Green New Deal Agrarian reform to make money. As the Assistant to the Inspector General of the Air Force and Chief of Services at Thule Air Base, GL, I managed over 100 billion dollar in Early Warning Missile System facilities and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Services and I am familiar with over 30% of wasteful funding in war programs that we do not need. We must stop spending on war equipment that we do not need. Use fed funds to make money instead.
No Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
No Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
60% of all covid-19 financial relief should go to small businesses with less than 20 employees and not for large corporations. 40% of covid-19 financial relief should go to the American tax payers in the form of $1,200 per month per person for 6 months so that they can pay their rent or mortgage. Government should also provide financial relief for unemployment benefits for up to 12 months. The federal government was negligent in responding to covid-19 and it should now assume responsibility for the financial distress of the American people. I will assume that responsibility to help you!
Yes Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
If states count and receive federal funding there should be some kind of standard. Most educators are against standardized testing which test the ability of the child but it also says a lot about the student's teacher and the school. As a college educator, I found that it was important to give at least 40% of the grade for student innovation in different projects but I still had to follow curriculum guidelines. I do however, believe that teachers and school principals should receive a performance based bonus each year of up to $10,000 based on their students' standard test results.
Yes Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
We should follow the lead of Japan in the Kyoto protocol and the Paris Agreement regarding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The American people have the right and deserve to have clean air, water and soil. There are no safe rivers or lakes in Louisiana, all of them without exception are contaminated. The city potable water looks dirty, taste bad, smells bad and it is contaminated. The entire environmental air quality in theI-10 corridor from Lake Charles to Slidell is polluted and contaminated. The cancer-alley contamination of St. John the Baptist Parish reaches New Orleans and the Northshore.
Yes Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
As veteran and gun owner, having a gun and/or rifle is important to me for hunting and/or protecting my family and my property. However, to kill a wild animal that may threaten my life I do not need a magazine with 100 rounds of ammunition, I can do fine with a 10-round magazine. As a 20-year veteran, I feel uneasy when I see in public a raggedy dressed person with a pistol or a high caliber weapon, I immediately go into survival mode looking for the nearest exit and how to take him down if he/she begins shooting people.
Yes Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
No Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19?
When the federal government is responsible for the negligence of the Covid-19 public health crisis, the federal government is 100% responsible of its negligence. Unfortunately, we a President that is not a responsible adult supported by Senator Bill Cassidy who stands behind the President only as a backdrop and a YES SIR and does not care that more than 5,000 have died in Louisiana and we have more than 152,000 confirmed cases as of 9/4/2020, which may double before election day. As U.S. Senator, I will ensure that your life is protected first, and that you have food and shelter.
No Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
No Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Melania Trump was unlawfully present at one time in her life, we cannot strip her of her citizenship and send her back to where she came from. The current Agriculture GDP is 1% with 2 million farmers which is decreasing, farmers are going bankrupt without labor because their children do not want to be farmers. All unlawfully present individuals should receive a 4-year H2-A visa as temporary worker so that they can pay taxes and get a driver's license. All the H2-B visas for hotel workers should be eliminated so that citizens who need a job can have one.
No Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
Yes Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts?
In addition to reducing military in Middle East conflicts, the U.S. Government should get out of the business of taking over (stealing) their oil. The original intent from President George Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney was not to stop Saddam Hussein from building or using weapons of mass destruction--it was to steal his oil for the large U.S. oil corporations. The result of the greed of those two idiots is my two sons and son in law having to go to war and more than 5,000 of their military friends died. We also earned 9 trillion dollar U.S. debt.
No Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)?
We need tariffs and quotas for the original intended purpose of protecting the U.S. producers/manufacturers.
1. Preserving life first. Provide covid-19 test and vaccine for all. 2. Medicare for All. 3. Re-invest 10% of Defense funding into Green New Deal Agriculture Reform. a. Food Security and Shelter b. Increase U.S. Ag GDP from 1% to 20% c. Create 25 million new jobs in the creation of 10 million new smart farmer. d. Create 10 million new wind, solar and geothermal jobs. e. Use industrial hemp-crete for residential construction (cat-5 storm resistant) f. Federal Recreational cannabis to pay for Medicare for all. g. Colleges and universities to adapt 50% internship programs to rebuild U.S. Economy.
