Description

"The Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund (PPAF) is the advocacy and political arm of the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts and operates as a separate entity from PPLM under the 501(c)(4) tax guidelines. Formed in 1984, PPAF believes that working within the political process is critical to advancing PPLM's mission to increase access to sexual and reproductive health services and comprehensive sexuality education for adolescents, women, men, and families across Massachusetts. PPAF educates voters about candidates' positions on sexual and reproductive health and supports and endorses candidates whose record and goals are consistent with its mission. PPAF produces this website to educate and engage members, activists and voters. PPAF also works with like-minded organizations to promote legislation and policies that will work towards reproductive justice and increase access to sexual and reproductive health services. This critical work includes lobbying state and federal officials and organizing grassroots campaigns that encourage supporters and the public to mobilize around key issues."
