Today, Congressman Stephen F. Lynch (MA-08) released the following statement on the Supreme Court decision on marriage equality:

"Today's Supreme Court decision is a giant step towards equality for the LGBT community. The Court has sustained our commitment to the principle of equal protection enshrined in the Constitution. Gay and lesbian couples and their families deserve to be treated with equality, respect, and dignity under the law across the United States."
