For past seven years I have worked with hundreds of students at UCSB to help prepare and train them for careers in various research fields (engineering, science, social science, and the humanities). School district has supported career technical education including creating partnerships with local community college for CTE careers and pathways (Health Academy and Culinary). District collaborates with County Office of Education, through a program called Partners in Education to provides work and internship opportunities with local businesses (including trades) for district students.
