Issue Position

Freedom is a cause I spent six years of my life serving in the defense of my country to secure. Three of those years I spent on the carrier, the USS Nimitz. As difficult as that time was, it was nothing compared with the greatest sacrifice others have had to make in order for us to have the privilege of representative government we enjoy. The freedom to vote, to peaceably assemble, to bear arms, to exercise our own religion, speech, and press are not just rights; these are precious liberties granted us by the ransom of countless men and women who forfeited their futures to give our nation, our state, and our county a chance at one. I find that value to be worth defending. I want to continue to serve this cause as your Senator for District 29.
