Issue Position

I support an "all of the above" energy policy that pursues both traditional and new sources of energy, in everything from oil and natural gas and nuclear to wind and solar power.

I have supported lifting the government's 40-year-old ban on crude oil exports that will help grow the economy, create jobs, and allow the United States to compete on the world market against the Middle East. I also voted to permit the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, which would create jobs and promote energy independence.
