Standing Up for Our NH Families

Frank Edelblut doesn't just talk about family values, he lives them each and every day.
"I believe the family unit -- battered as it is -- still remains the foundational social structure of society. In our families we learn how to function and become well-adjusted contributing members of society. Unfortunately, this is not true for all families. It cannot, however be the role of government to supplant this social unit. Rather, public policy needs to support families."

Many -- perhaps most -- of the problems society faces today stem from the breakdown of the family. Countless studies show that children from intact families have better educational outcomes and better emotional health. Children from a strong family are less likely to engage in substance abuse, delinquency or criminal activity.

As a husband to his wife and college sweetheart Kathy for over thirty years and a father to seven wonderful children, Frank understands how important it is for our state government to encourage strong NH families.

As our next Governor Frank will support policies that encourage strong families.
"In my work on the Child and Family Law legislative committee, I have heard hours of testimony from women and men, from medical and legal professionals, and many others. Often that testimony portrays a system that, although it espouses the benefit of the family and children, seems to work at odds with that goal. The result is an exacerbation of what are already difficult and trying circumstances."

NH Families who find themselves in the family court system deserve a system that makes the best of a difficult situation.

As a devoted husband and a father to daughters, Frank feels strongly we must stand up to domestic violence.

As a grandfather, Frank knows we must grow jobs and opportunities in New Hampshire. We want to encourage our children to stay in New Hampshire and find good-paying jobs so they and their families do not need to move elsewhere.

Frank believes Constitutional Rights should extend to those not yet born.

Frank knows life is truly a gift from God and he believes the New Hampshire Constitution guarantees "life" and "liberty" for every soul in New Hampshire.
