Aguilar Raises $474,000 for Second Quarter

Press Release

Date: July 11, 2016
Location: San Bernardino, CA

Continuing his fundraising dominance in the 31st district race, Pete Aguilar's campaign announced raising $474,000 for the second fundraising quarter this year. This is Aguilar's best fundraising quarter for the 2016 election. Aguilar's campaign heads to the general election with over $1.5 million in the bank. The success of Aguilar's fundraising efforts has been spearheaded by a coalition of over 15,000 individual supporters, of which 89 percent have contributed $100 or less.

"I'm humbled by the outpouring of support that our grassroots campaign continues to receive," said Congressman Aguilar. "Inland Empire families have made it clear that they want a representative who will work to improve our education system, stand up for our seniors, protect women's reproductive health care, and bring good-paying jobs to our region. Unfortunately, my Republican opponent is more concerned with promoting Donald Trump's hateful agenda than addressing the important issues impacting San Bernardino County residents."

Pete Aguilar represents California's 31st congressional district. He is a strong advocate for economic growth and fairness in the Inland Empire and a leader who reaches across party lines to deliver results for San Bernardino County's middle class.
