Issue Position

Washington is one of the most trade dependent states in the country and local families know that we can no longer wait for a new investments in local roads and transit. Gridlock costs local businesses money every day. We need to invest in transit alternatives to afford local commuters greater options and investments in additional bicycle and pedestrian projects help keep our streets safe for our kids and ultimately reduce congestion. Investments in our transportation should not be a partisan issue. It has to do with our economic competitiveness as a region and will ensure that we can continue to attract new jobs to our region. You can be sure that I will be a voice for compromise and will work to find a bipartisan solution for local families.
