McKinley Announces Research Funds for WVU's Department of Chemistry

Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E., (WV-1) announced that West Virginia University (WVU) will receive a grant in the amount of $413,836 from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, a division of the National Institute of Health (NIH). This grant will support research done by WVU's Department of Chemistry.

"Investing in the research capabilities of our universities is important for our local economy and the strength of our academic institutions. This grant will benefit the faculty, staff, and students at WVU and it will allow them to continue their groundbreaking work," said McKinley.
