Our country was founded because of the tyranny over a few to raise taxes on the many. Janice has not forgotten that and she works tirelessly to protect the hard earned dollars of all Tennesseans. That means that Janice is opposed to tax increases without first ensuring that government is doing all it can to live within its means. Janice is opposed to and will never support an income tax in Tennessee. Janice understands that the government must be accountable for the dollars its spends and that the personal economic liberty of each Tennessean requires and demands this basic respect.
