Former Congressman Sid Morrison Endorses Bill Bryant for Governor

Today, former Congressman Sid Morrison announced his support for Bill Bryant for Governor. He said:

Today I am announcing my enthusiastic support for Bill Bryant's candidacy to be Washington's governor.

I met Bill when he lived in Yakima and worked to expand export markets for the tree fruit industry. For the 30 years I have known Bill, I have come to appreciate his pragmatic approach to solving problems, his ability to pull people together behind solutions, and his skill at translating a vision into reality. I saw that in his work in the apple industry, as he built his company and most recently when over a six year period as he worked to consolidate the seaports of Seattle and Tacoma. Bill understands agriculture and water issues. Having lived here, he understands our interests and remains a part of our community. He is exactly the kind of person we should elect as governor and I will be working to elect him.
