Strong communities require that everyone has the opportunity to fully participate. Too often, social, economic, and health disparities prevent the people who are the backbone of the Cape and Islands from reaching their full potential. These problems have solutions - and with progressive leadership responsive to the voices of all our residents, we can implement them. Standing with those who are fighting to make better lives for themselves is core to who I am. As State Senator, I commit to:

*Improve access for LGBTQ youth, adults, and seniors to affirming schools, housing, healthcare, and services by providing the resources to fully implement state law and train key providers
*Promote racial justice not just in word but also in action by providing targeted funding for health, legal, housing, and community development resources for marginalized communities
*Fight for reproductive justice by making family planning services, reproductive health screenings, pregnancy-related care, and abortion services more widely available in our communities and passing legislation setting standards for inclusive and accurate sexual health education
