Taxpayers in Connecticut should pay their fair share of taxes, but they should not be expected to pay a penny more. Pat will go to Hartford to cut back wasteful spending and programs and make sure the hard-working people of this state do not see their money wasted on programs of no benefit. Connecticut needs a state budget that reflects the interests of all parts of the state without placing an unfair burden on small towns and communities. As state representative, Pat will not only bring a voice of fiscal responsibility, he will work with both parties to begin anew the quest for a balanced budget.
