Governor Maggie Hassan today announced that 50,046 Granite Staters are receiving health care coverage through the bipartisan New Hampshire Health Protection Program (NHHPP):

"Earlier this year, we worked together across party lines to reauthorize our bipartisan New Hampshire Health Protection Program, which is strengthening the health and financial well-being of our people and our businesses and playing an integral role in our ongoing efforts to combat the heroin and opioid epidemic in the Granite State," Governor Hassan said. "Through the bipartisan New Hampshire Health Protection Program, more than 50,000 hard-working Granite Staters have the peace of mind and security that comes with quality, affordable health insurance and thousands of our citizens have accessed substance misuse and behavioral health services."

"I am proud of what we have accomplished by working together to expand quality, affordable health insurance to these hard-working Granite Staters, and I will continue working with members from both parties, health care providers and other key stakeholders to maximize the benefits of the New Hampshire Health Protection Program to create an even stronger, healthier New Hampshire."
