Issue Position

Idaho's economy is the fastest growing in the United States, with more jobs and rising incomes.
Despite Idaho's positive trajectory, as the old saying goes, "success is never final."

Idaho must continue to diversify its economy, particularly in those rural communities that have been left behind. Continuing to raise incomes and wages is a top priority and will prove critical if we continue to see disruptions in the federal government or global economy.

By pursing policies that from the skills of our workforce, we will allow entrepreneurs to do what they do best, create better-paying careers and expanded opportunities.

I believe if Idaho remains committed to building a highly skilled workforce, we'll be well positioned to grow careers and incomes, now and into the future.
