Sinema Votes to Protect Family Planning Services

Statement

Date: Feb. 16, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema today voted against H.J. Res. 43, legislation limiting access to family planning and health services for thousands of Arizona women. Sinema released the following statement after the vote:

"Restricting Title X funding would leave millions of women and their families without access to family planning and health care services, including mammograms and life-saving cancer screenings. It is wrong for politicians to use women's health for political points. We'll keep working to ensure all Arizona women and families have access to safe, affordable healthcare."
