Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) is calling on President Donald Trump to ask King Abdullah of Jordan to honor the FBI's request to extradite Ahlam Aref Ahmad Al-Tamimi in order that she stand trial for her role in a 2001 terrorist attack that killed two Americans.

"Terrorist Ahlam Al-Tamimi has expressed no remorse for her role in planning and executing the deadly attack on a Jerusalem restaurant that killed two Americans," DeSantis said. "During today's meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan, President Trump should ask for the immediate extradition of Al-Tamimi so that she may face prosecution for her heinous crime. Malki Roth and Judith Greenbaum deserve justice."

DeSantis, Chairman of the National Security Committee, highlighted this attack during a February 2016 hearing examining the role of the Office of Justice for Victims of Overseas Terrorism.
