Wenstrup Supports House Passage of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

Statement

Date: Nov. 16, 2017
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Taxes

Today, Congressman Brad Wenstrup (OH-02) voted in favor of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (H.R. 1), which passed the House of Representatives.

"As our country competes with the rest of the world in a 21st century global economy, it is essential that our tax policies do the same, and offer the opportunities for businesses of all sizes to grow, thrive, create jobs and increase take-home pay for hard working Americans so that they may seek their dreams. Our legislation was crafted with relief for working families and the middle class in mind.

I look forward to the House and Senate working together in a conference of thoughtful debate and discussion as we work to finalize this bill that we are bringing to the American people."
