Proclamation - State Employee Recognition Week

WHEREAS, state employees are dedicated to excellence in serving the citizens of North
Dakota; and

WHEREAS, state employees give of their time and talents to make a difference in our
communities and our state; and

WHEREAS, the professional and personal commitment of state employees contributes to
the most efficient, cost-effective government operations; and

WHEREAS, state government employees have demonstrated strong work ethics and team
spirit in providing superior customer service; and

WHEREAS, North Dakota state employees are among the best in the nation; and

NOW, THEREFORE, as Governor of the State of North Dakota, I do hereby proclaim
September 12-16, 2005, STATE EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION WEEK in the state of
North Dakota.
