Rep. Rokita's Statement On The Closing Of Planned Parenthood In Fort Wayne

Congressman Todd Rokita released this statement following the announcement that Planned Parenthood will be closing in Fort Wayne, Indiana:

"Abortion is a tragic end to a life for those who are helpless to defend themselves." said Congressman Todd Rokita. "It is imperative that we provide women the healthcare they need and deserve while separating those services from abortion. With the closing of this clinic, it is clear that many Hoosiers' values do not align with this elitist organization, and I am proud to be living in the pro-life generation that continues to fight against the elites and for the most vulnerable among us."

Congressman Rokita has been a strong advocate for the unborn, and believes that life begins at conception. He has fought against federal and state tax dollars going to abortion organizations, and believes no health professional should be forced to perform an abortion against their will.
