Some helpful steps toward greater governmental transparency were taken in 2018. But a desperately needed measure is to require ALL committee votes to be recorded for public record. Too many politicians talk one way in their district, and vote another way on the committee level in Topeka. They can kill good bills on the committee level without accountability.
