In 2018, Wood County was awarded an all-time record, $2.9 million in capital budget grants. This was the result of several months of work I completed with Senator Randy Gardner. This money will be used to help fund the Wood County Senior Center, provide assistance to The Cocoon Shelter (cares for victims of domestic abuse), enhance the mission of the Perrysburg Heights Community Center and improve facilities at the Miracle League Baseball Field of NW Ohio in Northwood, among other worthy projects.
