Issue Position

Texans pay some of the highest property taxes of any state and must have relief! Like you, I'm impacted by skyrocketing property taxes, and this continued increase is simply unsustainable. We never really "own" our homes; we simply pay higher and higher taxes for the privilege of living in our homes. Home ownership shouldn't be threatened by government greed.
