Issue Position

San Antonio has a long history of advocates who championed fairness and justice for all people. I want to add my name to that list.
My entire career is dedicated to helping others. I want to continue that work as your State Representative.

My Record:
Passed strictest payday loan regulations in Texas.
Part of team that won Texas congressional redistricting lawsuit.
Updated Non-Discrimination Ordinance (NDO) that added protections for LGBT community.
Eliminated predatory parking/booting practices Downtown.
My Plan:
Rein in abusive payday and auto title lending practices
Restore access to critical women's health services
Curb hunger for Texas children.
Increase opportunities for working families to become home owners.
Protect local law enforcement from movement to turn them into immigration officers
Support Equal Pay for Equal Work legislation to ensure women are treated fairly in the workplace
Fight for a minimum wage that allow workers to house and feed their families
Fight for our seniors. Propose freezing property taxes for those living on a fixed income and expanding access to in-home care, so they are not forced into expensive nursing homes.
