Help Manny Diaz Jr. Support the People of Venezuela.
Since being elected president, Maduro's policies have led to widespread crime and poverty in Venezuela, leading many elected officials to come out in opposition to any policies or businesses supporting the poverty-stricken country's government. We must prohibit Florida from doing business with companies involved with Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.

House Bill Objectives
The bill requires the State Board of Administration (SBA) and all Florida state agencies to divest from, and be prohibited from future investment in, any U.S. institution, company, or foreign subsidiary that is doing business with the government of Venezuela.
This bill gives the Governor the authority to waive the sanctions if there is a collapse of the government in Venezuela and there is a need for immediate aid to Venezuela, or other humanitarian reasons.
