Issue Position: Life

Biblical and scientific evidence makes it abundantly clear that life begins at conception.

Currently, South Carolina law allows abortions up until almost the third trimester and each year thousands of unborn children are murdered. With a Republican controlled House and Senate, passing bills to limit and ultimately end abortion should be easy, but for years they haven't done so. Legislators do a lot of talking about passing a pro-life bill, but they don't take action. Just last year the SC House passed a budget that funded Planned Parenthood.

Meanwhile, the Personhood bill and other pro-life bills don't even make it to the floor for a vote. Steven will make protecting the rights of unborn children a top priority. The barbaric and inhumane practices of the abortion industry must be stopped.
