Issues: Elections

Cory Maloy supports the caucus and convention form of elections practiced in Utah. He has participated in his neighborhood caucus, been elected as both a state and county delegate many times, has served as a precinct chair, served as District 6 Leg Chair for five years and served twice on the Steering Committee of the Utah County Republican Party.

Cory Maloy has participated in, managed, and prepared District wide caucus meetings many times. He loves the caucus. He has a history of being a staunch defender of delegates and of the caucus/convention process and remains so today. He acknowledges state law allows an alternative path to a Primary election. His path to the ballot will always be through the caucus/convention path.

Cory is very troubled by the divisiveness, anger, and lack of respect between the advocates of the two election paths and calls on all Utah citizens to unite in a common cause, which is to exercise our rights as Utahns and Americans to vote and elect our officials.
